Transformation.

Michael invited me out to Denmark, where I immersed myself in an intensive, high-trust training to become a Certified NLP Practitioner.

What unfolded over those few weeks wasn’t just education — it was a complete rewire.

I left with an entirely new lens on human behaviour.

Not just why we do what we do… But how to change it — at the root.

It felt like being handed the Swiss army knife for transformation.

And for the first time, I didn’t just understand “behaviour change”…

I embodied it.

That’s when, in my trading, I started “operating” as a Finn.

The Finn Role.

Finn operates within the same environment as Gary.

  • Same markets
  • Same prop firms
  • Same rules

But how he operates is completely different.

He “controls” his FOMO for new trading strategies.

He’s not addicted.  His routine is more focused…

And – perhaps most surprisingly – he doesn’t seem to need trading the way Gary does…

Finn trades because he can. Not to PROVE he can.

Finn’s blueprint looks like this:

Truth is… Finn’s not even the best trader, technically.

But that’s the thing… He knows he doesn’t need to be.

He’s realised that success is more about how he thinks,  feels and (crucially) what he BELIEVES profitability is about..

He knows 80% of his success comes from 20% of his input.

And he’s found the 20% lever.

It’s not in the charts, or the strategies.

It’s in his Identity.

Let that sink in for a moment…  It’s important.

Because – when you work from identity (i.e. how you see yourself) – performance becomes inevitable.

Not because you “work harder.”

Or because you’ve found the “holy grail” trading strategy.

But because you’re finally operating from a place that makes profitable behaviour feel natural.

Finn has worked hard on his identity and self concept. So much so, that it’s become “not like him” to take revenge trades.

“Not like him… ” – to over leverage.

“Not like him…” to abandon his plan.

Finn’s in FLOW.

The moment I changed my mindset (and the perception of who I was and what I believed) I began to see positive changes almost instantly.

That constant low-level tension — the one I thought would only disappear after I’d reached  a million in ‘prop funding’ — just… vanished.

I stopped measuring the gap between where I was and where I wanted to be.

Stopped chasing PnL…

Instead, I fell in love with the PROCESS – of building my trading business.

I didn’t feel like a failure anymore when I had losing trades, or even drawdown periods. “Failure” didn’t exist in my belief system anymore. Only FEEDBACK

Within a few months my trading had transformed and I was scaling my funded trading business to $800K and beyond while making consistent withdrawals.

And I ‘ve helped others do the same.

See… There are only two ways this generally goes. You either:

  1. Keep trying to force results by looking for solutions outside yourself… Or
  2. You become someone for whom the right behaviours become inevitable.

And once the penny drops… you can’t unsee it.
